Rampart’s Roadway Paint Removal Vehicle – “The Blaster”

Rampart’s Roadway Blaster is a truck mounted paint removal vehicle, which is capable of removing paint from roadways at rates exceeding 5,000 sf per hour.  The Blaster uses only potable water, which is environmentally safe.  No chemicals of any type are used.  The paint is vacuumed from the Roadway surface and is properly disposed in a landfill.

Roadway Vacuum Truck

Rampart uses Tymco sweeper/vacuum trucks to collect the paint debris following removal by the Blaster.  During the clean up operation the paint, dirt and debris removed by the high-pressure water blast is vacuumed from the roadway surface.  A portion of the water used during removal is also collected.  Water is typically decanted from the vacuum truck along the edge of the roadway where it is allowed to re-absorb in to the ground.  The paint can be transported in the vacuum truck to a designated location where it can be properly disposed.  Typically the vacuum truck can hold all of the paint removed during a removal work shift.
