Senior Management:

Beth Newbold, President


Beth began her professional career managing production and design for the theater including assignments across the United States and internationally.  She was the Director of Facilities at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC during the $17 million restoration of the 600,000 square foot parking garage.  She has worked as a Project Manager at the National Institute of Health and the Bethesda Metro Center and as a scheduling consultant.  Beth has 22 years of experience in the hydrodemolition industry.  Beth is a member of ICRI.  As Rampart’s President, she is responsible for all aspects of the business.


Pat Winkler, Senior Vice President


Pat performed his first hydrodemolition project in 1986 as a restoration contractor and has been directly involved in the hydrodemolition industry for the past 27 years. He is a member of ICRI, ACI, SSPC and APC. Pat has a BA in Chemistry from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Rutgers University.  He is OSHA 10 Construction certified.  As Rampart’s Senior Vice President, Pat is responsible for day-to-day operations.


Sam Dickson, Operations Manager


Sam started in 2009 as a Field Technician and has operated most of Rampart’s equipment on a variety of projects including bridges, stadiums, and parking structures.  Sam has experience in sales/estimating, project management, and is currently the Operations Manager.  He has completed the OSHA 30 Construction certification and is a member of the ICRI.  Sam served in the US Army and PA Army National Guard as an Engineer specializing in bridging, demolition and heavy construction.  He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.  As Operations Manager, Sam is responsible for the overall coordination of all project-related activities.  He works closely with general contractors across the country to ensure the successful completion of all of Rampart’s projects.


Kathy Hassett, Director of Finance


Kathy joined Rampart in 2010.  She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Kathy was previously employed as Vice President, Finance & Administration at an industrial manufacturing facility.  Kathy is responsible for all of Rampart’s accounting, financial, contracting, and insurance activities.

Bob Fonzi, Sr. Accountant/Purchasing Manager


Bob joined the Rampart team in 2011.  He is responsible for various accounting functions, such as tax preparation, purchase tracking, and cost estimates.  He has a BS in Business Administration (Major Accounting) from Slippery Rock University.  Bob was previously employed by Drilling & Grouting Solutions, LLC as CFO/Partner.


Brad Foltin, Field Superintendent


Brad started his career at Rampart in 2001 as a Welder/Mechanic.  He has moved up through the years to Field Technician, Sr. Technician, Master Technician, and Foreman.  In his current position as Field Superintendent, Brad oversees the completion of hydrodemolition projects at jobsites across the country.  He supervises and trains field technicians.  He works closely with general contractors’ onsite representatives and DOT inspectors to ensure a projects’ successful completion.  He is OSHA 30 Construction certified.  Brad supervised a $6,500,000 hydrodemolition project at the East Monroe Street Garage in Chicago, Illinois.


Chris Cedar, Field Superintendent


Chris joined the Rampart Team in 2005 as a Field Technician/Mechanic and has steadily advanced to his current position as Field Superintendent.  He has operated all the equipment in Rampart’s inventory, including hydrodemolition and vacuum equipment, along with TracVac, BlasterVac, and Automated Vacuum-Filtration System (AVS).  Chris works as a mentor to field technician trainees.  He is often involved in equipment and safety upgrades and improvements.  He is OSHA 30 Construction certified.  Chris has supervised many high profile bridge hydrodemolition projects, including the Birmingham Bridge in Pittsburgh, PA and the Tappan Zee Bridge in New York.


Dale Parks, Shop Manager


Dale started his career at Rampart in 2005 as a Mechanic. Over the years, he has been promoted to Sr. Mechanic, Lead Mechanic, and Team Leader.  Currently, as Shop Manager, Dale is responsible for the hands-on, day-to-day operations in the shop facility.  He supervises shop personnel and provides training on repairs, services, and rebuilds.   He is responsible for equipment readiness, ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and on time.  He is OSHA 10 Construction certified.  Dale has extensive knowledge of all the equipment is Rampart’s fleet.

Kim McCoy, Logistics Support


Kim has worked at Rampart since 2013.  She is responsible for all project logistics, including employee travel, permits, and project information coordination. Prior to joining Rampart, she was the Catering & Convention Services Manager at the Hyatt Regency.  Kim graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in psychology.


Mary Keller, Contracts/HR Manager


Mary joined the Rampart team in 2010.  Prior to coming to Rampart, she was the Sales & Contract Administrator for Solid State Measurements, Inc.  Mary graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.  As Contract Manager, Mary is responsible for all aspects of the contract process including pre-qualification, contract review, partial & fully executed contracts, and change orders.  Additionally, she is also in charge of Rampart’s hiring process and human resources functions.


Patty McDonnell, Staff Accountant


Patty started her career at Rampart in 2008.  She is responsible for all payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.  Patty graduated from West Virginia Northern Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting.  Prior to joining Rampart, she worked for Charles F. Orum, CPA.


Shawn Schake, Assistant Project Manager


Shawn has been with Rampart since 2015.  As Assistant Project Manager, he is responsible for managing all the details that make a project successful for our customers.  Shawn previously worked for Baker Installations and is OSHA 10 Construction certified.  He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Finance.


Tom Collins, Field Superintendent


Tom joined Rampart in 1992 as an Inventory Clerk, moved onto Field Technician, and then Senior Field Technician.  In his current position as Field Superintendent, Tom travels to jobsites across the country to prepare, manage, and direct the hydrodemolition work.  He oversees the completion of multiple projects and he supervises and trains field technicians.  With more than 25 years of experience, Tom has extensive knowledge of the hydrodemolition industry.  He is OSHA 30 Construction certified.  Tom served in the United State Air Force with the 384th Bombardment Wing (BMW).


Tom McCann, Senior Estimator


Tom has been with Rampart since 2013 and is committed to providing excellent customer service and developing comprehensive solutions for Rampart’s clients. He is a member of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and has a BS-Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He is OSHA 10 Construction certified.  Tom is responsible for all aspects of bid preparation, as well as providing educational presentations and attending industry-related conferences and meetings.


Wanda Cranmer, Marketing Manager & Safety Manager


Wanda began her career at Rampart as a Research Analyst in 2009.  Currently, she is the Marketing Manager and Safety Manager.  As Safety Manager, she is responsible for all aspects of Rampart’s safety program including compliance with both OSHA and USDOT/FMSCA regulations; and as Marketing Manager, she is responsible for lead development, website updates, and other marketing functions.  Wanda has completed her OSHA 10 Construction certification.
