Rampart Hydro Services in Pittsburgh (located in the Airport Corridor) is currently recruiting for Skilled Laborers. The Skilled Laborer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of hand lance Hydrodemolition equipment. Because the work is performed at job sites throughout the USA, relocation to Pittsburgh is not required. We offer excellent pay, health benefits, and 401k.

Duties

Safely operate and maintain construction equipment and machines, such as Hand Lance Hydrodemolition equipment (training provided)  

Responsible for jobsite activities including job set up, work performance, close out daily reporting

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and report equipment problems

Engage in the cleaning, preparation of concrete surfaces

Read and interpret construction blueprints and layout to determine line of action

• Take precise measurements during construction to ensure concurrence with the project plans

• Follow instruction from Supervisors

• Load and unload construction materials

• Oversee the disposal of waste and wastewater left on work site

• Assist equipment operator and other skilled labor when necessary

• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary

• Represent company on the job

Prepare and submit paper work daily

Work requires extensive travel throughout the USA

Requirements for Employment:

High school degree or equivalent,

• CDLA or desire to obtain a CDLA,

• OSHA 10 construction certification or willingness to obtain prior to hire  (OSHA 10 construction certification course will be paid for by Rampart),

Pre-employment physical and drug test,

Background check,

• Able to Lift 100 lbs. and physically fit,

Willingness to travel throughout the USA up to 75% (passport required),

Mechanical experience (preferably with diesel engines),

PMA (positive mental attitude), and

Adaptable; Able to adjust to changing work conditions
